Vanez Theurer Wilson was born September 13, 1895 in Logan, Utah. From 1918-1919 Wilson served in the Army and fought in World War I. He received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Utah State Agricultural College in 1920, majoring in irrigation. On July 14, 1921, he married Margaret Ann Budge in the Logan LDS temple.
